A day at sea

Day 15     At Sea      Friday, August 8th, 2014

As with the previous day at sea, I took zero photos. So, I pulled this from a different day since we did rest on the promenade deck on this relaxing day.

The ship offers a million things to do on the days at sea, but very few interested us or we didn't want to pay an entry fee. We did participate in a Name That Tune contest, but our team got only two of 20 correct (in contrast to the Beatles Name That Tune a few days earlier). Janet read her book, while I read the Venice book and studied its map trying to prepare for our upcoming two days there.
This photo is from a different day, but I'm just SURE we had a romantic sunset!

One of the highlights was supposed to be Signature Chocolate Buffet Night, which lasted only an hour from 10 to 11. However, the big extravaganza show in the theater ended at 10:30 and a thousand people, including us, went straight to the buffet. It was far too crowded to enjoy, as far as we could manage.

The show before that was nice, starring the ship's entertainment cast. Here's a photo of another towel sculpture:
Good night.
